Expectations & Standards

Professionalism
Respect the property, maintain a tidy workspace, and represent the brand with courtesy.
Schedule Discipline
Hit milestones, communicate constraints early, and log progress with photos when requested.
Safety First
Follow OSHA standards, use PPE, and report incidents immediately. Zero tolerance for shortcuts.
Tools & Materials
Provide trade-appropriate tools and material handling unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Coordination
Work with our Project Manager on sequencing, changes, and sign-offs. No scope creep on site.
Licensing & Insurance Requirements
Documentation must be current for the duration of the project. Upload or email copies with your application.
Business License REQUIRED
Active business license for your locality (or state, as applicable).
Workers’ Compensation Insurance REQUIRED
Coverage compliant with Virginia law for all employees on site.
Contractor’s License
Virginia DPOR license if your trade/work category requires it.
General Liability Insurance
Provide a certificate of insurance (COI) naming Lara Contracting as certificate holder.
W-9 Form
Submit a current IRS W-9 for tax reporting prior to first payment.
COI Endorsements
Project-specific endorsements may be requested (e.g., additional insured, waiver of subrogation).

Packet & Agreements
A Subcontractor Packet Agreement will be sent out for your review and signature.
Project Assignment
Scope, schedule, and site rules issued; mobilize after notice to proceed.
